YardWise began with a common problem: having a lawn for the first time and not knowing what to do with it.
When I became a homeowner, I quickly realized how little clear, trustworthy guidance existed for lawn care. Most advice online was generic. Recommendations assumed the same conditions everywhere. There was no reliable place to learn how to care for a lawn based on where you actually live, your soil, your climate, and your real constraints.
At the same time, I was surrounded by family members who worked in landscaping. I heard about the challenges they faced every day. Inconsistent results. Conflicting guidance. Homeowners making decisions without understanding the conditions beneath their lawns. The work was real, hands on, and often undervalued.
YardWise was created to bridge that gap.
Not by replacing professionals. Not by pushing products. But by translating trusted public information into clear, practical understanding. So homeowners can make better decisions, and the people who care for lawns can work from a foundation of real information.
That is where YardWise started. And it is what we continue to focus on today.
